Undertaking a major renovation to make a quick profit requires the right location; the right market, the right initial cost; the right buyer and a great team. We can only guarantee the last requirement.

There is a point where economically a building is beyond refurbishment, this is often directly related to its location and character. Or when your desired result would be better achieved with a new build.

Your desire to remain at an address or a property undervalued for its location should be the main reasons to renovate and the scale and cost kept relevant.

Be open minded

Compromises are often necessary given existing structure, location, and budget. Here begins the need for an honest, experienced building team a good relationship between owners, designers and builders, the ability to take time to make informed decisions or put trust in others judgment.
